Children And Easter Chocolate Candy
Easter chocolate candy is one way that many celebrate this religious holiday. In all reality, this chocolate candy gift has nothing to do with the religious meaning of the holiday, but since the 1800’s people have been giving some form of chocolate as a gift. No matter if it is eggs or bunnies, people around the world enjoy chocolate on this major Christian holiday. A person can choose store-bought candy to give or they can make their own. Easter and candy now go hand in hand with each other.
The history of Easter chocolate candy can be traced back to the tradition of giving out items to the poor by the European monks during Lent. For a treat they would pass out hot cross buns. In many places around the world, hot cross buns are still a tradition that is kept alive today. However, many people enjoy a variety of candy for this holy holiday. One can find chocolate bunnies, peeps, and even jelly beans in a variety of retail markets. A person can even learn how to make chocolate milk eggs if they have the correct chocolate candy mold and chocolate candy recipe, which they can easily find on the internet.
One of the most widely recognized candies that people enjoy for Easter is the jelly bean. Although these popular candies are not made of white chocolate candy or even dark chocolate candy, people consume jelly beans by the boat load around Easter. Jelly beans were first made in the 1930’s by an American candy maker, and they have become the second most popular Easter candy, second only to the chocolate bunny.
One way that people enjoy the Easter holiday is by handing out Easter chocolate candy. Even though this is a tradition that began with giving to the poor, the act of giving on Easter has become synonymous with candy. No matter what type of candy a person chooses to hand out or enjoy personally, they will continue the tradition of giving and help to keep this holiday alive in spirit.
